Outfit Post: Chaotic Neutral
Coastal Grandmother has been trending all summer, and I'm generally the least trendy person you'll ever meet. Since I was somewhat doing this trend all along, I figured I might as well jump in. I wear a lot of neutrals and love a good fabric. This outfit is a little less coastal and a little more office friendly. On another note, I saw an actual, in-the-wild coastal grandmother in the grocery store the other day. Taking her picture would have been far beyond my comfort level and probably hers, but she had the best outfit. I think she was wearing this top (Alice Walk), these trousers (LL Bean), this tote (Pamela Munson), and definitely these shoes (Sketchers). This post is probably weirder than just asking her where she got her things and paying her a compliment, but oh well. Live and learn and link strangers' outfits on the blog.
Here's my somewhat less coastal, but very neutral take on the style:
Top - Banana Republic tie-neck sleeveless blouse (no longer available, but linking similar)
Capris - Talbots
Shoes - Naturalizer Banks Flat (Finally something I just purchased and that isn't sold out. These are very comfortable and go with everything.)
Cardigan - Duffield Lane (also sold out, but linking similar)
Earrings - Posh Preppies pearl bee earrings (this is an affiliate link, thank you for supporting the site!)
Sunglasses - my favorite eBay ones (under $10!)
This photo shoot was at the Schantz Avenue Bridge, which was finished two years ago. I love driving past it, especially at twilight. I bribed my daughter with getting to walk on it as part of coming along to a boring Instagram photo shoot.
